Paddy Ewer

I did not know Paddy well.  He made occasional contributions to my files via this blog, but recently he sent me two enormous files containing South African and Italian results because he told me he had only a few weeks to live.

These files amount to the greatest single contribution anybody has ever made to this project and I fell very humbled to have been entrusted with them in these sad circumstances.

I have now been contacted by Paddy`s daughter, who tells me that Paddy died in his sleep on Sunday 22nd February 2015.

I wish to record my gratitude to Paddy for sending me these results and to offer my condolences to his family and friends.
