We have the winner only, Keijo Kinoshita (Yamaha).

We have the winners only.

29 June 1980 – Latin American championships, Porto Alegre
We have the race winners only, 350cc- Eduard Aleman (Yamaha), 125cc- Antonio Neto. We have no details of later rounds of the championships, except that the Chilean round took place in November.

20 July 1980 – Circuito di Misano
We have the first three finishers in the 500cc race only, Graziano Rossi (Suzuki), Walter Migliorati (Suzuki) and Takazumi Katayama on the four-stroke Honda HR500.

25 July 1980 – Circuito de Vila Real
We have the result of the 250cc race only.

10 August 1980 – Cena Slovenska, Pieštany
We have the race winners only.

27-28 August 1980 – AVUS road races, Berlin
We have no results.

21 September 1980 – Circuit de Jerez
We have the race winners only.

28 September 1980 – GP la Fortezza, Mugello
We have the full 500cc result, but only the winners of the 360cc and 250cc races, Massimo Matteoni (Bimota-Yamaha) and Pier-Luigi Conforti (Yamaha). We have no results of the 125cc and 50cc races.

We have the first three TT Formula 1 finishers, but only the 250cc winner, Kevin Hellyer (Yamaha)

19 April 1981 – New Zealand Grand Prix, Ruapuna, Christchurch
We have results down to third place only.

20 April 1981 – Italian championships, Misano
Marco Lucchinelli (Suzuki) won the 500cc race, and Eric Saul (Chevallier-Yamaha) and Massimo Matteoni (Bimota-Yamaha) finished 1st and 2nd in the 350cc race. We have no further information about this event.

20 April 1981 – Salzburgring-rennen

We have the winner only, Andrew Johnson (Yamaha).

Andrew Johnson (Kawasaki) won both races, but we have no further details.

Robert Dunlop (Honda) won the 125cc race.  We have no further information about this event.  Unfortunately I have lost the co-operation of somebody who had previously been a very useful contact within the MCUI, but who now says he no longer has the time.

Manfred Herweh (Yamaha) won the 350cc race from Martin Wimmer (Yamaha), and Werner Schwärzel / Andreas Huber (Seymaz-Yamaha) won the Sidecar race.  We have no further information about this event.

We have no information about the solo classes.

12 February 1983 – South African championships, Killarney
We have the first three finishers in the Superbike and 250cc races but no details from the other classes.

3 April 1983 – New Zealand Grand Prix, Christchurch
Mike Hogan (Yamaha) and Rodger freeth (Suzuki) finished first and second in the Open race and we know that Yamaha machines won every race on the programme, but we have no further information.

9-10 April 1983 – Imola 200 / Italian championships
We have the full result of the 200 mile race, the first six 500cc finishers, the first three 125cc and 50cc finishers, but only the 250cc winner, Massimo Matteoni (Yamaha).  We also have the first two Sidecar finishers, Franco Donati (Yamaha) and Gonanni (Yamaha).

17 April 1983 – West German championships, Speyer
We have the race winners only.

5 June 1983 – West German championships, Colmar-Berg
19 June 1983 – West German championships, Zolder
We have the race winners only.

19 June 1983 – Swedish championships, Falkenberg
We have the first three finishers in the main catagories, but only the winners in the various production machine based categories.

10 July 1983- West German championships, Kassel-Calden
13 August & 1 October 1983- West German championships, Hockenheim
We have the race winners only.

14 August 1983- Riga meeting
We have no results.

21 August 1983- Cena S.N.P., Banská Bystrica
We have the race winners only.

28 August 1983- Taça Centauro, Interlagos
We have few details about this event.  Paulo Castroviejo (probably Yamaha) won race one and finished second in race two behind Marco Antonio Greco (Suzuki).  Castroviejo was the overall winner from Greco.

11 September 1983- M.F.J. Grand Prix, Suzuki
We have the first three finishers in the 500cc and 1,000cc (TTF1?) races, but no further information.

2 October 1983- Circuit de Jerez
We have no results.

9 October 1983- Sugo road races
Kenny Roberts (Yamaha) won the main event from Sadao Asami (Yamaha), but we have no further information.

27 November 1983- Swann International series / Australian championships, Calder
We have the full results of the Swann series races but only limited information about the Australian championship races.  Geoff McNaughton (Yamaha) won the 250cc race and we believe Ian Saunders (MBA) and Geoff Taylor / Barry Frazer (Windle-Yamaha) won the 125cc and Sidecar races respectively, but we have no further details.  We also have very few details of the Superbike races.

We have no information about the rounds run in Queensland and Western Australia.

1983- Latin American championships
We have no results.

11 March 1984- Australian Superbike championship, Symmons Plains
We have the first three finishers from one race.  We need more information about the whole of this series.

29 April 1984-  West German championships, Speyer
Reinhold Roth (Honda) won the 500cc race, Gerhard Waibel (Massa Real-MBA) won the 125cc race and we have the first three Sidecar finishers.  We need more information about the whole of this series.

5 May 1984- Tandragee 100
Brian Reid (Suzuki) won the 1,000cc race and we have the first three 250cc finishers.

13 May 1984- Penang GP
Brent Jones (Yamaha) won the GP race and Malcolm Campbell (Honda) won the race for Improved Touring Machines Over 125cc.  We have no further information about this event.

3 June 1984- West German championships, Nürburgring
Reinhold Roth (Honda) won the 500cc race, Gerhard Waibel (Massa Real-MBA) won the 125cc race and we have the first three Sidecar finishers.

10 June 1984- Suzuka international road races
We have the TT Formula 1 result only.

22 July 1984- Okruh Jindrichuv Hradec
12 August 1984- Cena Slovenska, Pieštany

November 1984- Superprestigio road races, probably Jarama
We have no results.

23 December 1984- International series, Manfeild
We have the leading positions in every class except Junior Production.  We have the winners only for this class.

1984 date unknown- Australian Superbikes, Calder
Simon Jones (Kawasaki) won one of the races but we have no further details.

1984 South African championships
We have the leading positions in the various meetings run at Kyalami, but no details from anywhere else.

1984 Australian championships
We have no results from the rounds run in New South Wales, Victoria, Queensland or Western Australia.

1984 Latin American championships
We have no results.  The only information we have is that the final round was run in Colombia in November, probably Bogota.

  1. There was no meeting at Zandvoort on 19-04-81, on 20-04-81 was the meeting at Hengelo.

    The meeting at Tubbergen on 15-05-83 was cancelled
